Any business inside the city limits is required to purchase both city and county business licenses. The initial license is $15 and is obtained through the City Clerk's office. A yearly return must be filed with the Tennessee Department of Revenue and a tax will be assessed based on the gross receipts of the business. A final return must be filed when a business is closed.
